That's a point I hadn't thought of.
Thunderbird automatically goes to the bottom on news messages.
It does the email point too, although at least manages to make it neat.

OE does have a tendancy to wrap the lines so ones already wrapped
by bad
providers (yahoo) have one really long line, and then
one short
with lots of arrows put in seemingly at random
