My Blog Now Has Teh Video Yo
To me, the truly hardest part of any blog is producing meaningful content
that will interest very many people, long term. Yes, as you say, you can
attract people that you piss off, especially if they can respond, but that
content would quickly become pretty boring beyond that narrow audience.
Unless the author of the blog has some kind of knowledge that is important,
it is hard to attract an on-going audience and harder still to hold the
audience with good content. I think adding in video will make a blog more
interesting in terms of content and give you some excellent options for
content. There's plenty of available sources that could be fun that arre
open source or public domain.
I'm not sure about all the packaging around it. It seems to me like things
are moving toward leaner presentations, or presentation of content within a
variety of aggregators, especially in the area of blogs. Will you release
the content in an rss feed? That would mean that people are seeing the video
and/or the text in their aggregator, and not with your packaging, yes?
