Some documentation?
Or at least a list of 'tips and tricks' so you get a better start.
If you are lucky the PHP code has good commentlines itself.
Personally I think you should consider saying: 'no' because you have no
experience with PHP, and the damned project is not documented.
This is asking for trouble, and you will be on the receiving end.
On the other hand: This could also be an oppertunity to proof yourself and
learn a lot of PHP during the process.
