iirc, this is the excel/com/web-parsing guy who takes all suggestion as an  
affront to his intellect and prefers putting nails in planks using the heal  
of a shoe in lieu of a hammer. it's good that you played jeopardy here  
(answer is question genre) else he might have started flaming you, telling  
you that php sux for making "return" behave that way rather than how *he*  
thought it should...and that you should keep your suggestions to yourself.
