IMHO you're just trying to make your life really really difficult if you try
playing with variables named $1 and $2. A valid variable name starts with an
alphabet or an underscore. Yes, it's possible actually to create '$1' with
variable variable but would it not be a tad easier if you just didn't try
it? Unless you are the Indiana Jones of PHP who wants to do things the hard
way (and I mean the really hard way), I suggest you give it up.
