You have a wide and loose concept of a troll. The idea of a trolI
for me must include the idea of speaking in bad faith. This idea
is too complicated to go into here but i sense that you will have
some idea of it.

I am not sure all the criteria you mention quite reflect the
heart of the matter. They may well be "usual symptoms" but we
must be a bit careful not to be jumpy with diagnosing serious
illness.

I am going to level with you now: I like it when someone asks
damn fool questions and does not just go off and read and study
and keep them to him or herself. I like rolling my eyes and
feeling superior. And I like not having to ask them myself and
thus exposing great ignorance. I like seeing, underneath all the
crap that flies about here, some interesting replies by
knowledgeable people. You are a pawn in a bigger game. You do
provide answers, your only price is to do a bit of biffing. It is
a double treat for onlookers: we get to enjoy Christians being
eaten by lions and in addition we get to know or be reminded of
things that are interesting.

You can kick us about as much as you like. But we are here to
stay. We love you. We need you. We have no one else. It is too
frightening out there.
