Some HTML tags have an open and close such as these...
<a href="link_here">Link text</a>
<table><tr><td....> </td></tr></table>
Others like and <br> and <input ...> don't they only have one tag. The "/" at
the end is the way to close it. From my understanding it was a change from
earlier HTML to the new XHTML.
