Try removing the double quotes around the statement: 
 
EXECUTE dbname.dbo.spGid 
    'KFT', 
    '0000000011,0000000012', 
    'merch,DSMT', 
    '2006-02-01 00:00:00', 
    '2006-02-28 00:00:00' 
 
You might also consider passing date strings in format yyyymmdd so that it's  
independent of the DATEFORMAT setting. 
 
EXECUTE dbname.dbo.spGid 
    'KFT', 
    '0000000011,0000000012', 
    'merch,DSMT', 
    '20060201 00:00:00', 
    '20060228 00:00:00'
