 There is nothing wrong with <font> per se, what's wrong is that it stops
 you from separating markup from presentation.
 
 Imagine you have 100 web pages where us have liberally used font.  then
 imagine the client comes to you and says he would like the fonts in a
 different face or colour.  With in line styling you'd have to change
 every page.  With and external Cascading Style Sheet (CSS) you change
 one file and it changes the whole site.
