Possibly even better, a separate table for the alt text. That way you do
not have type an unique description for all 800 pictures. Table 1 has
the image name, height, width, and alt choice. Table 2 has the alt tags.
Table 1 (one to many) table 2 (in quotes)
choice a = "landscapes of the beautiful countryside"
choice b = "fantastic shoes"
Table 1 would read -
name height width choice
1.jpg 200 325 a
2.gif 313 273 b
3.jpg 199 324 a
Hope this clarifies what I had in mind - which I am out of at the moment
