The most useful PHP book for me was about PECL. The "Camel" book does a
very good job explaining Perl-style regular expression. It's worth
paying for the whole book just for those chapters.
O'Reilly's Dynamic HTML reference is a must-have. It almost never
leaves my desk.
It's hard to go wrong with O'Reilly. Their Apache book was kind of
crummy though.
