I find your article emotionally-laden: it is pathos-driven to the
neglect of reason. If I winnowed out the appeals to emotion, what
would be left? For example, the time you spend calling case
sensitivity stupid is out of proportion with the time you spend
explaining why you think so.
(I think in arguments in general it's helpful to sum up the other
side's position to their satisfaction, and likewise for them to sum up
your position to your satisfaction. This not only shows that you have
each understood the other's position, but also helps everyone clarify
and refine their own ideas and serves as a gesture of goodwill when
you're not seeing eye to eye.)
