Hi Piet,

The username and password should be those on your MySQL database, as
phpMyAdmin is simply (simply probably the wrong phrase no disrespect to
developer) acting as a pretty interface for that. I know on phpMyAdmin the
username and password are stored in the file config.inc.php in the root pf
your phpMyAdmin installation. For admin purposes the username typically
'rrot'and whatever password you chose at the time of the MySQL install. I
seem to remember though that ver 2.8 has them in a different file when I
tried it out a couple of months ago. I've stayed with 2.7 as that is what my
host works with.

Might be worth running through the install again to make sure you didn't
miss anything.
