Hopefully there is a key in the data you import. Else you are in dire
straits. Say that columns 1 and 2 are the keys. Then you could define
a view as:
CREATE VIEW united AS
SELECT a.col1, a.col2, ... a.col250,
b.col251, ... b.col543
FROM tbl1 a
JOIN tbl2 b ON a.col1 = b.col1
AND a.col2 = b.col2
--
