Thank you all, solved.

error reporting was on but display_error was off, turn it on to display the error messages
secondly need to uncomment the extension=php_mysql.dll
one more thing for us newbies there is a extension_dir use it don't copy dll in windows dir.

hope this helps anyone with the same problem.
