I don't think you'll get much help here. I tried, basically wanting to
know the same thing. Might want to try php.net, though if you're like me
you're better off learning from pre-existing code. Seems like everything
is there but unless you know the order of things... it's like piecing
together a puzzle. Had the same problem with sockets until I found raw
code that worked... took it apart and looked at it bit of code piece by
piece.. still don't know EVERYthing about sockets but at least I know
how to go about creating and using them.
