Correct. There is not even a British version of SQL Server, as far as I
know. People in the UK have to accept that SQL Server can't spell
properly. :-) There are German, French, Japanese and a few more language
versions, but the version for US English is likely to be wide use even
in countries where these languages are spoken.
As for support, I can't say that my knowledge of MS Support is fantastic,
but I find it difficult to imagine that if you would call Microsoft in UK
they would tell you to call Microsoft in the US, just because you bought
your license there.
