I installed Wordpress on one of my Web sites. It appears that
anyone can view my entries. That kind of violates the intent of a
'diary'.
Is there any way to secure it so that it you have to be logged
on to see the entries? I simply won't allow other accounts on it and
that should solve the problem.
To explain what my need is for an online diary is, I'm getting
a little tired of being told one thing and when they don't deliver on
it they ask me 'who promised me that'. Sometimes I'm at home when I
talk to them. Sometimes I'm at the office. But I rarely remember who
I spoke to three to six months or a year ago.
By having an online diary hidden away on my Web site, I can
record specifics about promises made to me and record names. Then
they can't bail out of the promise they made because 'I don't remember
who told me that'. I can pull it up from anywhere and quote the
person and tell who it was that said that.
But I consider these entries confidential and don't mean for
everyone to be reading them. They are only on my Web site so I can
make entries from whereever I might be.
Suggestions.
Regards,
Fred
