Instead of multiple jobs, why not a single job with multiple schedules?
Create a schedule for each day of the week with the appropriate
scheduling parameters. You coule also build an interface to execute
the sp_update_jobschedule stored procedure to alter the frequency of
the job runs.
Not as cool as Notification Services, but it fits the need you
describe....
