It can be made up and some people have an unconscious inbuilt
humour generator, saw an old film the other night, O My Darling
Clementine, a western, Henry Fonda as Wyatt Earp, he was in love,

himself. He says to the barman whistfully, "Hey, Mac, ever been
in love?" The barman replied: "No, I've been a barman all me life"
