Hi

I believe Management studio may not perform as well as Enterprise Manager on
lower specification machines, but if you are using the query window the
difference should not be as noticable (if at all).
The system requirements for SQL 2005 are higher than SQL 2000 although these
are listed for the engine not the client tools on their own.
