PHP is run on the web server to generate dynamic HTML content. It also offers a
method of accessing an SQL database that can be used to store, update, and
access information.
PHP and MySQL are not included by default on all web server installations so a
web hosting service may or may not support those technologies. HTML should apply
to just about any web server though, and your HTML code is usually more
dependent on the web browsers uses to access your site rather than the web
server send the files.
