CMS... Best to suit my site?

Posted by exabsurdum on 09/26/06 03:51

Alright, so I'm not really a PHP coder, but I know my way around enough
as a designer.
I'm launching this site with a few friends and I'm basically the
backbone of the design and dev.

I would really like to integrate a CMS to the front-end so we can have
all the writers and contributors (about a dozen of them) log in and do
everything from one place. I just haven't been able to find a CMS
simple enough with the right options. I need at least two levels of
access, admin and like contributor or author (really dumbed down
controls). They need to be able to upload photos, video, and audio
files. And most importantly blog. But these are all non-natives to the
tech world are need really simple interfaces. I imagine I can organize
the entries on the front end myself to have most recent entries show
and so on...

Anybody know a good CMS that is similar so i could potentially mod it?

Or anyone want to build this for me?

Let me know
-Max
