we have some windows apps that we stage on a development server. our
reporting tools for these apps are web based and are also run on windows
served via apache. currently, the dev server is running php 4.x as a cgi. we
are adding two more apps for dev/testing where the reports require php 5.

has anyone got some pointers on how to configure apache on windows to be
able to run php 4 or 5 (both as cgi) based on the url or alias? i've been
trying to find out if .htaccess controls this (and how), but haven't found
anything yet. i'll keep looking, but was hoping someone has already
successfully crossed this bridge.
