What really helped me if you don't know much about php but you have
programmed in other languages is a book that cost 9.99. PHP 5 in easy
steps. http://www.ineasysteps.com/books/details/?184078282x . its
really kind of chesses but I found it very helpful and simple. I also
then moved to http://www.sitepoint.com/books/phpmysql1/ when I started
to programming with databases. But I really don't like to read a lot
or big books and I love these too.
