Then they shouldn't be using a GUI management tool. They should develop 
change scripts, test them in a test environment and then apply them in 
production. That's just common sense good practice. You only need 
install the GUI tool in a development environment where no real harm 
can be done.

Whenever possible please post enough code to reproduce your problem. 
Including CREATE TABLE and INSERT statements usually helps. 
State what version of SQL Server you are using and specify the content 
of any error messages.
