Rushing into giving someone a contract as quickly as your post would seem to
indicate will hardly give you enough time to vet applications sufficiently.
And given that you are looking for them so quickly, I would assume the project
is on a tight schedule already. So really you are going to want the best devs
you can get for a tight schedule. I'd suggest taking a step back and
re-evaluating what you want, and how quickly you want it. You'll just be
running into problems in the longer term otherwise.
