Carfax is using Data One Software they use some code and pass it to them
and then write back to the user.
There is only one problem with attempting to hack or link to there page
and write a wrapper, Data One Software checks the requesting ip.
So that will only work till they find it hand that does not last long.
Thats is why I need my own simple vin number decoder for my web site.
I have all kinds of data sources for any thing from the old days to the new.
It can be found most any were for the bassic checks.
Make and Model, engine size, drive line, mfging plant.
This would be a good start.

Vin Power
and others like these are very costly and require contracts.
