Thank you for your suggestions.
Multicast spreads from one multicast enabled router to the next on the
MBone. This solution would be fit for a LAN but not for WAN as far as I
know. To many problems associated with WAN (all dependant on MBone). Please
correct me if I'm wrong.
I understand that connections from my PHP server would currently create
multi connections otherwise I would not be here!
I know you are trying to help but please do not be rude "I hope that this
time the answer will sink in". Your information has sunk in but
unfortunately I'm looking for a more educated answer.
