Hello:

On Fedora Core 5 - PHP5

I have read the installation and configure portions of the PHP Manual
and searched the web and newsgroups for hours and I cannot figure out
whether I can simply run:

../configure --with-pear
make
make install

to enable pear or if I have to include all the original configure
options listed in phpinfo to do so.

I have a nice default setup working and I really don't want to mess it
up.

And if I have to use the whole config list, do I simply copy the text
from phpinfo. Aren't some of those auto-configed, and (ok -really
clueless here) do I have to remove all the single quotes from the
phpinfo lines?
