Opinions, yes. Anything, not quite. IANAL, and I'm not American (not
even close), but I do have some insight to law in general. If you've
actually taken the time to read the bill of rights (any part of it),
you might find this interesting:

http://www.law.cornell.edu/constitution/constitution.billofrights.html

<quote>
Amendment I
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or
prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of
speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to
assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.
</quote>

Or to translate from legal-speak: "Religions, opinions (either as an
individual or as a member of the press) and peaceful demonstrations
(either by gatherings or by sending a petition to the government) are
legal."

It doesn't say anything about hacking, illegal drugs (note the word
"illegal") and the posting of pornography.

Free speech includes the right to oppose the way of government in terms
of opinions; breaking other laws is an entirely different matter. As
Andrew pointed out, actions have consequenses.

Encouragement is all in the eyes of the beholder, apparently. Just look
at the cases where people are trying to get certain video games banned
because of the violent content. Depending on who you talk to, some may
see the violent games as "encouragement to perform violent actions".
Although the "violent movies and video games breed violence" claim is
still a myth, the cases involving them can't be ignored completely
(dismissed, perhaps, but not ignored).

Describing the process in general on how someone was hacked is one
thing. The problem

Fair enough. A "how-to" guide on how to use drugs might seem "innocent
enough", but it might be perceived as an encouragement. Especially for
the "non-prescription, non-pharmacy" type.

Unless you photograph the models yourself, you're generally breaking
copyright law (state, federal and international). If you do photograph
the models yourself, you have some legal obligations instead:

IIRC, websites are generally subject to the laws of the county (and
country) of the server farm (where the site is hosted) as well as the
hosting provider's HQ and your home location.

Yes, online gambling sites are not subject to US law. Not only because
the sites are hosted overseas, but also because the companies
themselves are located overseas.

Yes... "thanks".
