Hi

I've googled this until I've got a splitting headache, and made no
progress :-(

Point browser at my Apache 2 server to http://server/directory and it
will find the index file if it is index.html but not if it is index.php

Point browser at http://server/directory/ and it will find either
index.html or index.php, whichever is present

All references and fixes I have found don't mention any difference
between html and php - any suggestions, please?
