You need to install devel package for imap, depending on version of imap you
may find the devel package here

If you have an installation which you haven't updated, then you find the devel
package on the install CDs.
If you are using RH7.3 or RH9, you can take a look at fedoralegacy.org too, if
you are using RH8, then just pray to the goods that no one will use any of the
security bugs that may be.
For not get trouble with future dependencies, make RPMs!!!
