See how your "signature" is in the above quote? If your use a proper
signature marker of [hyphen][hyphen][space][carriage-return] as I have
below then folks with decent news clients will remove the signature bit
automatically when quoting. It is a small thing but it also an act of
courtesy. If you like your double slashes, fine, just add a signature
marker above:
