Dear Joe,
if you are looking for a function, and don't know the correct name,
have a look at
http://www.php.net/manual/en/funcref.php
There the functions are sorted in categories. e.g. if you look for
functions you could use for your calendar have a look at the "date and
time functions".
If that does not work out for you. Just try to enter what you need into
the search field on the top right of that page ...
