When I do
$domainName = "google.com";
$res = ereg('#^(([a-z0-9][-a-z0-9]*?[a-z0-9])\.)+[a-z]{2,6}$#',
$domainName)
res was false :( and I got this warning
Warning: ereg() [function.ereg]: REG_BADRPT
