Hi,
I am trying compile PHP 5.2.0 on a Gentoo Linux system. The configure
script hangs on "checking whether pwrite works" for several minutes
and then dumps me to the command line with nothing to inidcate what
might have gone wrong. I believe pwrite() is a glibc function?
Any thoughts? I've tried re-installing glibc with no luck.
