If you want to understand more on how PHP operates:
"Programming PHP" published by OReilley is a really good read written
by the PHP creators it goes into good depth on the PHP syntax. A
definately good reference.
If you are looking for code to learn from PHP Cookbook by OReilley is
pretty good (though I don't like all their examples).
