invisible layer in internet explorer, why?

I've a problem with code below.
I' don't understand why the text "WHERE IS THE TEXT?" in the first
level don't appear in internet explorer 6.

The problem doesn't appear in firefox, mozilla and opera.
I' don't know with internet explorer 7

any hint? :)
