Micha, 
 
No arguments about it being faster, etc.  However, the market doesn't  
always upgrade to the latest.  There are a lot of hosts still running  
PHP4, all over the world.  And to say you won't program for them means  
you're missing an awful lot of customers. 
 
But hey - it's your loss, not mine.
