If you want to seriously program PHP, NVU (now forked and bug fixed as
Kompzer BTW) will prove to be very frustrating, as it likes to re-
write your code to fit it's idea of a web page (i.e. like to move
session_start() after the html headers.
Most people who are serious about PHP are using stuff that are Text
Editors or not much removed from text editors, which also include such
nicities as syntax highlighting, debussing tools, templates, and site
management. On Linux I use Quanta but there are others that are far
more powerful.
