I tend to look at each customer as being unique. What works on one
customer's site may not work on another. I do not agree that there
are certain "rules" one must always follow. Now I do admit I work in
a rather small niche, that is the entertainment industry, where
colorful, fancy, fun, movement, graphical layout etc, seem to be
rather important to the viditors. But when meeting with a new client
I make sure they understand will be turning away a certain number of
visitors that for what ever reason can not, or choose not to be able
to see or use the technology I may propose for their site.
Of course, being a Republican I then take their money anyway, kill
their cats, rape their dogs, and blame the Clintons for all three...
