After a quick look through the dictionaries to see what *you* were
talking about I had to start laughing (at my own ignorance!) I now sit
corrected. I had never looked it up as (my memories of) high school
Latin suggested that the plural should have been "viri" and I assumed so
.... interesting things one finds out about here!
