You have, occasionally, shown a certain understanding of HTML and the
Web. This is not one of those occasions.

If it's invalid code there is a strong likelihood that you will never be
finished with it, and that you will continue posting inane questions
here. Please reconsider.

How about, once every second major change? Or once a week? Or once?

It's not to please Bergamot, doofus, it's to help *you*. Do you think
the standards derived by the W3C, the rules by which browsers work, and
the laws of physics have all been conceived as part of a conspiracy to
thwart you, Jon Slaughter, as you heroically attempt to waste your own
time and those of others?

You will wait until you've hacked through the Amazonian rain forest with
a pocket knife and *then* book a flight over the trees.

> I will once I finish the site completely and have learned much more

Your goal to learn more is commendable. Sincerely. But part of what you
need to learn is that things work a certain way, they work a certain way
for a reason, and when you ask for help because you don't care to learn
things on your own, and then spit at that help, well, you have more
learning to do than just about HTML and the pitfalls of absolute
positioning.

And you'll probably have to redo every single little thing when you do.

<remaining stuff snipped>
