hi, i run a apache 2.2.4 server with php 5.2.1 & mysql server 5.0 and everytime i try to load-up phpMyAdmin i get an error like this:
 "phpMyAdmin - Error
Cannot load mysql extension. Please check your PHP configuration. -
 Documentation"

ok, so i checked the php.ini and the line extension=php_mysql.dll was
uncommented, so that isn't the problem. i checked the phpMyAdmin
documentation for this, and the solution to the problem is " Usually, the
problem is solved by installing a software package called "PHP-MySQL" or
something similar.", but i don't quite understand that. any help would be
 welcome.
