MSDASQL is an OLE DB provider that works against an ODBC driver. That is,
over MSDASQL you cannot connect to anything relational which has an
ODBC driver.
What your "MSDASQL database files" are supposed to be, I don't know. But it
sounds like a misunderstanding somewhere.
