 According to the topic "Upgrading an Existing Installation of SQL Server"
 in Books Online, Evaluation to Standard is a supported upgrade. There is
 a footnote, about an exception for failover clusters, but since you are
 aiming for Standard, I guess that does not apply to you.
 
 I'm a little curious, though, that in this day and age that you have
 settled for SQL 2000 and not SQL 2005.
