Open up an SSH shell and use the PostgreSQL monitor program:
psql -U __YOUR_USERNAME__ __YOUR_DB_NAME__
You'll be prompted for the password.
Then you can do:
\df+ __FUNCTION_NAME__
to see the full definition of your function.
Post that here, and maybe somebody can tell you what is wrong with it.
Another possibility, while you're in psql, is to go ahead and try to call
the function with some sample data.
