Senior PHP Programmer Montreal, QC Competitive
Salary 50K-70K
Duties and Responsibilities:
This position requires solid understanding and progressive experience
in development using PHP.
The candidate will focus on several e-commerce systems, and daily
tasks include:
- Assist the Project Manager in planning application
development.
- Analyze requirements to minimize work needed to deliver
solution as well as design of application based on the analysis.
- Design, develop, modify, test, and implement highly-scalable
e-commerce applications based on PHP technology.
- Implement the design.
- Produce and update application documentation.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve foreseen technical issues
- Create and execute test plans.
- Suggest standards on programming style and convention.
- Monitor technological advancements and recommend technology
for use in the development environment.
Experience & Knowledge:
Experience
- 5 years experience in PHP programming.
- Experience as a programmer in the e-commerce field is a
plus.
Knowledge
- HTML, CSS, XML, XHTML.
- ActionScipt, AJAX.
- SSH, Apache, SQL, MsSQL, Linux, and Windows.
- JavaScript.
Education & Certification:
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a
scientific field.
Skills:
- Evaluating architectural issues along technical, business,
and organizational lines.
- Adjusting and managing priorities.
- Problem analysis and resolution.
- Reconciling technical issues with business constraints, and
vice versa.
- Translating business strategy into technical terms, and vice
versa.
- Thorough, multi-tasking, and Organized.
- Excellent communication skill (oral and written) in English.
