So could you please let me know what is the best way to do it ?

Re-phrase:
I have developed a content management system that I am using in
different websites, on the same dedicated linux server.

What I want to achieve is to have all my classes in a central
location, probably outside of the "WEB" directory, so I can update
them once and get updated in every installation of the content
management system.

I have no idea what is the best way to achieve such a result, and
that's what I hope someone will answer.

SVN or CVS like Andrew Hutchings suggested is probably one of the best
ways, but any other ideas ?
